Papa’s Birthday

By Mom | May 27, 2009

May 15thwas Papa’s birthday so both Yaya and Papa were so kind to travel up north to celebrate it with us in Ventura.  We took Papa out to lunch at a restaurant by the harbor.  Grace loves the cut out photo ops.  Well she used to anyway.

Even after a filling meal we all still had enough room for dessert.

Later that night we sang happy birthday to Papa.  Grace is a pro at helping others blow out the candles.

Over Memorial weekend we spent a lot of time outdoors.  Grace and Cole helped Mommy garden and plant flowers for my front porch.

Grace is such a wonderful little helper.

She even picked out which flowers go where.

On Sunday we took a ride on our bikes to the beach.  Grace and Daddy are fixing Daddy’s tires because I think it’s been like 4 years since we’ve rode our bikes.

While at the beach Grace wanted to try out her new pocket sized kite.  It’s only about 12 inches big and catches wind pretty easily.

However, if the winds are too strong, the kite gets too swirly and crashes immediately.

Miss Queen Bee wants some more chocolate milk.  Bye bye for now.
